The existential modality is utilised to treat anxiety, depression, alienation, shame, guilt, anger, and purposelessness. Additionally, this approach focuses on enhancing relationships, love, commitment, creativity, will power, and acceptance.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Positive Psychology is a manner by which to positively impact the patient’s life by increasing the experience of positive emotions, building a sense of hope, helping to identify and develop strengths, and nurture healthy relationships.
The aim of Positive Psychology is to catalyze a change in psychology from a preoccupation only with repairing the worst things in life to also building the best qualities in life.
